Discover The Prosperity Scriptures That Can Change Your Life

I know you’ve thought about it before: Does God want to teach me a lesson by not giving me money and good health? The answer is a resounding no. God’s heart is to see you walking in the fullness of life! May it be in finances, health or relationships, God’s will for you is to be in abundance and prosperity at all times. You can glean this truth from the prosperity scriptures written in the Bible.

God does not leave His people wanting. In fact, many of His chosen men are renowned to have great possessions and supernatural favor. Abraham had so much livestock and men born in his household that the rich land was not enough to supply him and his nephew’s possessions and they had to separate. And have you heard about Sarah and her beauty? At ninety, a king asked to bring her to the palace intending to make her his woman. Were they lacking blessings in any area of their lives? I don’t think so.

How about Joseph? He was a dreamer scorned by his brothers and sold to slavery. When he served his master faithfully, the master’s wife had him thrown to prison on wrongful charges. In prison, he still served the warden, even helping out one inmate by correctly interpreting his dream of freedom–and yet he too was forgotten by this friend. Does this sound like you? Beset by troubles, never seeing the light at the end of the tunnel? Cheer up and be faithful. God knows and He delivers. In one day Joseph went from the pit to the palace where he served as second in command to the whole of Egypt.

But you think, that was the Old Testament, and all Gods divine actors seem to be only about one race of people that has nothing to do with today’s world. That’s not true. Study the New Testament books in greater detail. You will find that Abraham is known to be the father of Faith and if you have faith–you too can partake of this promise. That’s right. The promise stated in Genesis 12:2-3,’I will bless you and make your name great; I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’–this is yours if you believe.

People say that God espouses poverty and points to select Bible verses to prove their point. This cannot be true because there are many scriptures that show God rewarding His faithful people with prosperity and promises of abundance. 1Chronicles 22:13 If you obey the laws and teachings that the LORD gave Moses, you will be successful. Be strong and brave and don’t get discouraged or be afraid of anything. Mark 10:29-39 ‘I tell you the truth’, Jesus replied, ‘no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields-and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.’

Alongside many of the prosperity scriptures you will find warnings and encouragements to put ones faith in God not in riches because wealth has only a passing value. It is wise advice and complements perfectly with Gods will for your prosperity. Jesus said in John 10:10, ‘The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.’–Let’s make sure we put this promise to good use.
