Religion
Most likely in the last little while you have had some visitors to your door who are Mormon missionaries. They are very much like the Jehovah Witnesses in going out and spreading the word that they believe in. Most often these will be the young man whose duty it is to go out and recruit new followers. The emphasis of their job is to approach people that aren’t familiar with the Mormons and encourage them to read the book of Mormon. They will testify that this is truly the God inspired word.
They will tell you that you will receive it be blessing of the Holy Ghost in the sense that you will know that the word written here is true. That this will be confirmed by getting a burning in your chest which is a warm feeling but this is only after reading and praying about it. This feeling is the confirmation that you have seen the light of the book.
One of the things that must be realized that this type of feeling often comes in other aspects of life as well. It may be something that is touching to you but doesn’t necessarily mean that it proves the validity of the book. If you tell the Mormon missionaries that you don’t need to pray about the book they will think that you are afraid to learn what’s in the book the Mormons stand on. This text is believed to be the inspired of work of God written through Joseph Smith.
Jesus visits America is what you will first see in the book of Mormon. It well somewhat appear as a style of the Bible. It will have many scenes that look like Bible illustrations so this can somewhat be misleading. The introduction to the book is a chapter of holy Scripture close to the Bible scripture. It talks about Gods dealings with the Americas and then it will tell you about the fullness of the everlasting gospel.
It must be remembered that the Mormons feel that there are no Christians today. Those that claim they are Christians are not of the same nature as to what was in the New Testament days. The Mormons stand on the premise that after the ascension of Christ that the apostles that were left to do his work taught the true doctrines and that they looked after the sacred ordinances. Once the apostles died there was really no one to continue their work so Christianity became stalemated.
They believe that the church that Christ originally founded was corrupted with paganism and lost its relationship with the Church of Christ.
There has been no valid baptism since that time or the laying on of hands and no blessings of any kind.
The Mormons believe that the true church was restored during the vision of Joseph Smith which was the beginning of Mormonism. So much is placed on the great apostasy of the Christians. The Mormons believe that their doctrine dates back to the New Testament dates and yet there are no other writings other than the book of Mormon to support to this claim.
Discover the truth behind mormon missionaries. This is an overview of missionaries mormon and what they stand for. The truth will shock you!

History
Kids are naturally curious and have an innate desire to make sense of the world around them. In other words – they want to learn. Have you ever seen your child out digging in the ground, trying to pull earthworms out of the dirt? And then that same child proudly shows you all the segments and explains how the worm wiggles to move? She is simply trying to put the pieces together to make sense of what’s around her.
Schools, however, tend to take the joy out of learning. They take fascinating scientific concepts and turn them into a dull, boring, repetetive sets of worksheets. Kids want to discover and explore their world, but schools can make that difficult and can strip the joy from learning.
For these reasons, many families have opted to leavea the “traditional” educational route and have chosen to take their children out to see the world instead. Some families travel in RVs; others in planes, trains, or buses. Some families travel on bicycle. However they get around, roadschooling families take advantage of their children’s natural ability and desire to learn by using the world as their classroom. They visit historical and scientific sites that arouse that sense of curiosity in their children. Through it all, roadschooled children learn to love learning.
As families travel throughout the world visiting historical sites, children gain an understanding of what life was like on the fields of Gettysburg or in ancient Mayan cities. They visit museums and national parks and natural wonders. Roadschooling parents encourage their children to learn from everything surrounding them and the kids learn in a natural learning environment.
Is there any better way of learning than doing? When children see, smell, hear, and touch their lessons, they truly learn. For many families, that is the only way to learn!
